How can we help you?
- You can consult our entire collection and, if you wish, make copies. However, because of the extreme rarity value of the collection, we regret that we cannot lend out the material.
- Our most recently-acquired books can be found on the bookshelves on the 'homoplein' ('gay square') on the sixth floor. These can be consulted at any time. Other books, our whole collection of international magazines, research reports, videos and DVDs are kept elsewhere. We can fetch these items for you on request.
- On our website www.ihlia.nl is an online catalogue containing the titles of our collection. From here, you can make a direct selection and send it to info@ihlia.nl. You can also find our whole collection in the AquaBrowser of the library search engine at www.oba.nl.
-Databases and collections are accessible for free. Please give a free donation to support the archives. We only charge you for making copies or scans if you wish (see below).
Reading lists and document delivery service
Maybe you'll find it difficult to collect the information you need. Therefore we offer you a helping hand by making a literature list. Please give us a clear description about what you want to know (exact subject, which language(s), country, and, if possible, for which purpose). A journalist has probably other information needs then a scientist or a student.
